Effective date: October 16, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AmeriQuartz Texas, LLC (“AmeriQuartz”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit this website, contact us, or register a product. It is designed to meet the requirements of the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and other applicable U.S. state and federal privacy laws.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact requests: name, company, role, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
- Warranty registration: name, email, phone, installation address, installation date, material, fabricator, and the proof of purchase you upload.
- Privacy requests: the information needed to verify and respond to your request.
Information collected automatically
Our servers record standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and to keep the site working. If you allow it, analytics and advertising cookies collect information about how you use the site — see our Cookie Policy.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, health information, sexual orientation, citizenship or immigration status, genetic or biometric data, or precise geolocation), and we do not sell sensitive personal data.
2. How we use personal information
- To respond to your questions and provide product, availability and pricing information.
- To register products, manage warranty claims and keep related records.
- To operate, secure and improve the website, and to prevent spam and fraud.
- With your consent, to measure site traffic and the performance of our advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We only process personal information that is adequate, relevant and reasonably necessary for these purposes.
3. How we disclose personal information
- Service providers that host the website, deliver email and store data for us, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
- Analytics and advertising partners such as Google and Meta, only when you allow those cookies. Under some state laws, letting these partners collect data through our website may be considered a “sale”, “sharing” or “targeted advertising”. You can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page.
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect our rights, customers or the public.
- Business transfers, such as a merger or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell personal information for money.
4. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including Texas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and access it;
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data;
- Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you;
- Get a copy of your personal data in a portable, readily usable format;
- Opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
How to make a request: use the form on our Your Privacy Choices page, email sat@ameriquartzusa.com, or call (210) 368-9600. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
Timing: we respond within 45 days. If we need more time (up to another 45 days), we will tell you why.
Appeals: if we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or by submitting an “Appeal” request through the form above. We respond to appeals within 60 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General or the attorney general of your state.
No discrimination: we will not deny service, charge different prices or provide a different quality of service because you exercised your rights.
5. Opt-out preference signals
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) and similar universal opt-out signals sent by your browser. When we detect one, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale of personal data and targeted advertising, and we keep marketing cookies off.
6. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
7. Data retention
We keep contact requests for up to 24 months, warranty registrations for the warranty period plus any time required by law, and privacy-request records for at least 24 months. We then delete or anonymize the information.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and restricted storage of uploaded documents. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Email and phone communications
We use your contact details to respond to your request. If we send marketing emails, each one will include a way to unsubscribe, as required by the CAN-SPAM Act. We do not send marketing text messages or automated calls without your prior express written consent.
10. Third-party links
Our site may link to third-party sites, such as our online inventory system or social networks. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
